Eligibility: Class 10 - Pass/Fail
Diploma in Food Production is a 1-year course where you get to understand the entire process of converting raw materials into foods and food items into different other forms. It is the combination of agricultural science and technology.
The key course inclusions are Cookery, Larder, Nutrition, Hygiene, Costing, Commodities, Computer operations, Equipment maintenance, Bakery and Patisserie. By the end of this course, students are conversant with the fundamentals of food preparation, culinary arts, restaurants and hotel operations, safety standards and sanitation measurements, and other operations required to serve supervisory roles in food service industry.
